It will be quite sunny again on Thursday and regionally even tropical. In the coastal areas there will be strong winds from the northwest and it will be 23 degrees. In the east and southeast the temperature can rise to above 30 degrees.
There is a moderate wind blowing from the west. There are considerable sunny periods, but during the day clouds form.
Because of the predicted heat, Rijkswaterstaat is also setting up a heat protocol today, but then for part of the country. This means that cars that are stranded on or along the highway are recovered faster.
The protocol will be in effect for the provinces of Overijssel, Gelderland, North Brabant and Limburg from 10 a.m. Due to the tropical temperatures throughout the country, the heat protocol was in force on Wednesday.
In the east and southeast it can rain or thunderstorms in the evening. Gusts of wind are not excluded, while there may also be some hail in places.
Friday will be a bit cooler. The mercury rises to 20 to 24 degrees and there is a moderate to fairly strong north wind.
