A high-pressure core over the south of England is supplying slightly unstable sea air from the north today. Sometimes showers develop. In the following days, the high-pressure core moves to the east and softer and drier land air flows over our country. The mercury can then reach 20 degrees again.
This morning it will be variable to sometimes heavily cloudy, with a few showers possible over the north and east of the country. Especially in the Ardennes there can be some mist or fog. During the day, clear skies and clouds will alternate with a chance of a few showers, especially over the eastern half of the country. The maximums are between 12 degrees in the Ardennes and 17 degrees in low and central Belgium. The wind is weak to moderate.
Tonight clearings will broaden and it will be mostly dry. By the sea, the chance of a shower remains. During the night, mist or fog may form locally. The minimums are between 2 degrees in the Ardennes and 10 degrees in the Coastal region, with a weak variable wind.
Wednesday it often remains dry and partly cloudy. We reach maximums of 12 degrees in the High Ardennes to 18 degrees in the west of the country. The wind is weak, first from variable directions, later from the northeast.
Thursday it will remain dry and sunny with sometimes some high cloud veils. In the morning it is quite cold with possible local frost in the Ardennes. The maximums are between 14 and 20 degrees in a light wind from south to southeast or changeable directions.
Also Friday it will remain dry with clear spells at first. High and medium cloud cover will increase from the west during the day, with a chance of some drizzle at night. The maximums fluctuate between 14 and 20 degrees. Winds are usually light from southerly or changeable directions.
Saturday there seems to be showery rain in the northwest of the country, especially on the coast, with a chance of thunder. A shower is also possible elsewhere, although the chance is rather limited. The maximums are between 15 and 20 degrees. Winds will be mostly light from variable directions and will become moderate from northeast towards evening.
Sunday sun and cloud fields alternate. It will remain almost dry, with maximums between 15 and 20 degrees and a moderate northeasterly wind.
