It will remain cloudy this afternoon with a chance of a few showers, which may have a wintry character in the Ardennes. Tomorrow 5 to 10 centimeters of snow may fall in the high Ardennes, the RMI warns of slippery conditions in the provinces of Liège and Luxembourg. There is also a chance of winter precipitation in Flanders towards the end of the week.
This afternoon there will be quite a lot of cloud in the east and northeast of the country with a chance of a few showers. Winter precipitation may fall in the Ardennes, but elsewhere it will remain dry. Clouds will increase later from the west.
The maximum temperatures range from 1 to 4 degrees in the Ardennes, while elsewhere temperatures are between 5 and 8 degrees. Tonight and night it will be heavily cloudy to overcast with gradual precipitation from the west. In the Ardennes, snow or melting snow can fall at the end of the night and the minimum temperatures dip just below freezing point. At the end of the night there can be gusts of up to 55 kilometers per hour.
Monday an active disturbance is moving from west to east across our country. It will snow again in the Ardennes, although the precipitation will turn into melting snow in most places after the afternoon. The snow may remain on the highest Ardennes peaks and 5 to 10 centimeters may fall. At the end of the day the snow turns into rain there too.
The temperatures are between 1 degree in the Ardennes and around 10 degrees at the sea. The wind continues to blow quite strongly with gusts of up to 55 kilometers per hour. The chance of snow in the high Ardennes will increase again on Monday night, and there is a chance of some melting snow elsewhere.
Tuesday It is dry in most places with beautiful sunny periods, although some snow still falls south of Sambre and Meuse in the morning. It can rain on the coast. The maximum temperatures range from -2 degrees in the High Fens to 3 degrees in the center and 6 degrees at the sea.
On Wednesday it is cloudy with some light snowfall in the Ardennes and rain or melting snow elsewhere. From the north it will become drier later with more sun, although showers remain possible. The temperatures range from 0 to 6 degrees.
Thursday it is heavily cloudy with rain and melting snow for most of the day and temperatures between 2 and 5 degrees.
Friday there is again a lot of cloud cover with rain and melting snow in Flanders and snow in the Ardennes at maximum temperatures between 0 and 4 degrees.
It weekend starts partly cloudy with snow in the Ardennes and rain or melting snow elsewhere and temperatures up to 5 degrees. Sunday it will be dry at first with sunny periods, but a new disturbance will reach our country in the evening from the west. Even then, the maximum temperatures do not climb higher than 4 degrees in the center
