Weapons, explosives and ammunition were found in the house on Haarenseweg in Oisterwijk where the police investigated on Saturday. This was announced by the police on Sunday morning. The tenant of the commercial building on Nijverheidsweg in Oisterwijk lives in this house, where weapons and ammunition were also found earlier in the day – after a shooting.
According to the police, despite the discovery on Haarenseweg, there was no immediate danger to the area. “The EOD helped get the stuff out of the house.”
Son shot in hand
A 31-year-old man was shot in the hand during the shooting on Nijverheidsweg in the night from Friday to Saturday. It would be the son of the owner of the warehouse, a 31-year-old inhabitant of Oss. He was arrested after treatment at the hospital. His father (60) was taken into custody at the warehouse.
Two other suspects had fled in a car after the shooting, but could still be arrested in the course of the night, on the A50 motorway near Hoenderloo. These two men come from Rotterdam (20) and Schiedam (36). They will be presented on Tuesday.
