Media personality Annika Metsäketo opens in fresh In an interview with Me Naiset magazine from a difficult period in his life in the mid-2010s.
Metsäketo was fired from his job at Radio Nova in 2015. At the same time, Metsäketo’s father is a musician Martti Metsäketo got sick with lymph node cancer. Metsäketo acted as his father’s caregiver for nine months.
– It felt like the bottom was falling out of life. On the other hand, maybe the dismissals were a gift, because I had time to take care of the fathers during the entire nine-month treatment period, Metsäketo tells Me Nais.
Martti Metsäketo passed away within a year. Father’s last surprise for Metsokedo was an envelope, inside which a surprise was revealed.
– Due to a bad bite problem, I had my teeth peeled in Turkey. The new set of teeth cost 12,000 euros, and the operation took a year and a half in total.
– Before his death, father had quietly collected the entire amount for me. The envelope read “Anni Panni hemp fund”. It was his last gift to me, Metsäketo tells Me Naiset magazine.
Annika Metsäketo’s brother is a singer Tomi Metsäketo. Annika has worked as a radio presenter and presenter herself.
