I had already brought three full bags of stuff, but afterwards I regret that I did not quickly buy three steps of cheap beer at the nearest supermarket. I had heard of it before, but the infamous tokens you have to pay with were even more expensive than I thought. Every average student who lives on a student grant probably drank himself poor this weekend, because with 3.20 euros for a beer you have to spend a lot of euros to get a little tipsy. Yet it was clear that all my fellow festival-goers cared just as little as I did. It seemed as if we had all decided that after two years of sitting at home we could really enjoy ourselves – regardless of what price tag was attached to it.
