Phones and game consoles were the most interesting products for Finns this year, at least if the price comparison site Hintaoppa’s data is to be believed.

According to it, Finns were most interested in the Playstation 5 game console, Airpods pro headphones and the iPhone 3 phone. The information is based on the consumer index of the Hintaopas website, which tells about the number of page downloads by users to different stores according to searches. The data has been collected between January 1 and December 18, 2023.

The list of the most searched products consists almost exclusively of phones and game consoles. The only exceptions are the earphones, which reached the second place on the list, and the soft machine, which reached the tenth place on the list.

Finns have put more and more money into consumer electronics every year. According to Statistics Finland’s consumption statistics, consumption of computers, phones and games has increased during the 21st century as technology developed and became commonplace.

According to the list in the price guide, Finns are especially interested in the price comparison of Apple phones. The mobile phones of the brand in question are notoriously expensive, which can partly explain the eagerness to look for the best possible offers.
