1. Apply a primer to the face
No make-up is durable if the primer is not in order, Hynynen reminds.
Apply the make-up priming product lightly all over the face. Special attention should be paid to the t-zone, the bridge of the nose or areas with, for example, pimples or enlarged skin pores.
2. Next is the make-up cream
Apply the right shade of foundation to the skin with a brush. Choose a flat, large brush with a thinner brush head. Add foundation a little at a time, layer by layer. Foundation should only be applied to areas that really need coverage. Put as little makeup as possible on the lines, dark circles and the skin around the eyes.
3. Concealer
Apply the concealer under the eye. If you feel the need, it can also be added to areas of the face that need additional coverage.
– Remember to choose a concealer that is close to your skin tone. Too light a concealer creates a panda eye effect, Hynynen reminds.

4. Eye makeup primer
In long-lasting eye makeup, the most important thing is the primer. First, remove the skin’s own oil from the eyelid. After that, prime the mobile lid with a concealer. For application, you can use your fingers or a synthetic brush.
Apply the primer from the eyebrows all the way to the lash line. Be careful and remember to be calm also in the inner and outer corner of the eye.
5. Make-up is fixed with loose powder
Fix the make-up with a loose powder with light swipes. There is no need to powder the whole face. Leave the areas without powder that do not get too greasy or shiny. Hynynen also reminds you that you should not attach the circles under the eyes at this stage, because eye make-up can still be applied to this area.
6. Sun powder (and shades)
With the sun powder, you can create a sexy, warm and glowing look. Shading was added to this makeup very thoughtfully.
7. Eyebrows
Draw the eyebrows into the desired shape with the help of an eyebrow pencil.
8. Eye makeup
Apply an eyeshadow close to your skin color all over the eyelid. Create graphic eye makeup with a liquid liner with a brush-like tip. Hynynen points out that graphic eye makeup should not be created with a felt-like contouring product. Sharpness may suffer in felt cases.
When the desired graphic look has been created with the contouring product, a metallic eyeshadow is applied on top. This ensures that every time the eyelash flutters, the created graphic will flash more clearly.
9. Loose powder
Make-up is fixed with loose powder, pay particular attention to the t-zone, nose, chin and under-eye circles.
10. Mascara
With graphic eye make-up, you should make use of the chunky mascara trick, that is, in practice, a thicker layer of mascara is applied to the eyelashes.
– When the border is thicker, the eyelashes don’t show as well. This problem can be avoided with chunky mascara, Hynynen explains.
With graphic eye makeup, mascara should be applied to the lower and upper lashes.
11. Blush and underpainting technique
Blush can be applied by patting with fingertips or a make-up brush. A matte blush can create the impression that the height of the cheekbones disappears. For this reason, the makeup artist recommends a cream blush.
Hynynen first applied blush and then gently applied foundation on top of it. This technique is called underpainting and it is very popular among stars. With the underpaiting technique, the blush just seems to see through under the make-up. This way the end result looks natural.

12. Lipstick
Since the eye make-up was so clearly defined, the lipstick was applied with gentle patting. The lips became soft, not so clearly defined. This creates a fun contrast to the makeup. If you want, you can add lip gloss on top of the lipstick, so that the end result is vinyl-like shiny.
