Even Hollywood parents aren’t perfect. Or?
The twins Ella and Alexander (now 5 years old) crowned the happiness of George (61) and Amal (44) Clooney. Now the two mega-celebrities chat in an interview on “CBS Mornings” about their small family, their happiness in love – and do not avoid “terrible” educational mistakes.
What do the Clooneys regret about their upbringing? The good education!
The Hollywood star jokes: “We made a terrible mistake. We taught them Italian, but we don’t speak Italian ourselves.” The problem: “We gave them a language that they can use to harm us, and we don’t really know what they’re saying.”
Planning a prank without Mom and Dad finding out? No problem for Ella and Alexander with their language skills.
But the siblings could soon be chatting up small jokes not only in Italian but also in French. Because the Clooney kids now also have French lessons – with just five!
In the breakfast show, the proud parents can’t stop raving and reveal that their son in particular is a real “joker”.
George reveals that his wife taught her son some pranks that he now plays on his father. In addition, Alexander’s absolute superhero is Batman, who his dad even embodied (in the film) in 1997. But that leaves his son rather cold. He teases his dad: “Yes, but not anymore.”
But it’s not just their children who make them rave: their own love story also gets George and Amal in the mood to chat.
George: “It starts with love. That’s sort of the whole secret behind it. It’s been easy. It’s the easiest thing we’ve done in our lives so far.”
And Amal believes: “It’s 99 percent luck just meeting the right person.”
Incidentally, there has allegedly never been a dispute between the two lovebirds since they met, as the actor reveals.
Just a terribly nice family!
