Sami Barkal, a Syrian refugee who tried to cross the border from Bosnia into Croatia in 2018, is taking Croatian authorities to the European Court of Human Rights after he was brutally tackled by border guards. He was able to film how fellow refugees were being beaten and took those videos to court.
