It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain clean and safe drinking water in Gaza. Residents who can no longer afford it experience disastrous consequences. The prices of the few available bottles of drinking water have risen sharply and running water is often unavailable. Many Gazans therefore have “no choice” and drink polluted water, causing many residents to become ill.
