Willie Nelson’s new album “A Beautiful Time” will be released on April 29, 2022, just in time for his 89th birthday. As a harbinger of the long player, the first single “I’ll Love You Till the Day I Die” has already been released. There are three CDs of the album to win when the album is released.
“A Beautiful Time” was produced by Buddy Cannon, Nelson’s longtime musical collaborator. The album contains five songs composed together by the two musicians. The other songs come from selected songwriters from Nashville. Two covers also round out the track list: Nelson’s renditions of Leonard Cohen’s “Tower of Song” and of the Beatles hit “With a Little Help from My Friends”.
The single “I’ll Love You Till The Day” is the first glimpse of the forthcoming album and was written by Rodney Crowell and Chris Stapleton.

Meanwhile, Nelson released two new albums last year, The Willie Nelson Family and That’s Life. The latter was nominated for a Grammy in the category “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album”. Also, Nelson can be seen live at the “Concert For Kentucky” on April 23, 2022 – six days before his 89th birthday.
