We are a pretty hopeless species, war is in us | Steven Pont

We are all familiar with the concept of psychological warfare, but of course all warfare is psychological in the end. But why do people decide to go to war? A fair question, because then we can learn something from it. The latter is perhaps optimistic, because I once added up the number of wars after 1945 and found that what is happening in Ukraine now is about the hundredth official war since 1945. In short, since Hitler was defeated, we start another war somewhere on our planet about every ten months. We’re a pretty hopeless species for that matter. War is within us.
