Bundesliga returnees Schalke 04 have strengthened their offensive with the Swedish national soccer player Jordan Larsson, son of goalscorer icon Henrik Larsson.
25-year-old Jordan Larsson, who terminated his contract with Spartak Moscow at the end of June, will be signed until 2025. The club announced this on Friday (08/05/2022).
“I’m very happy that the move has come about. Schalke 04 have made impressive progress over the past few months, which I’ve followed closely from afar,” said the Royal Blues’ new attacker.
“Jordan convinced us in the talks that he is very interested in Schalke 04 and our common mission to stay in the league,” said Schalke’s sporting director Rouven Schröder.
Coach Frank Kramer added: “Jordan suits us very well with his way of playing football. He’s always looking for one-on-ones and is always able to assert himself with his pace and technique.”
