Waylon wants community service for Carice van Houten: ‘Give 150 hours!’

Waylon believes that Carice van Houten and other people who block the A12 to protest should immediately receive significant community service. “Then at least they are of some use.”

The climate protests on the A12 are causing Waylon a lot of annoyance. Although colleagues from the profession also participate, such as Carice van Houten, the singer is not at all pleased with this. He may be known as a rebellious person, but participating in all kinds of demonstrations or protests is definitely not for him.

150 hours for Carice

Waylon is not very interested in climate protests. “I’m not going to say it’s pointless, but there are also guests who climb onto a highway and thus disrupt public order. Then I think you’re missing your target. There are penalties, but they are often not enforced,” he says The Telegraph.

Celebrity colleague Carice saw the A12 at one point as a nice outing. “If you give all those people 150 hours of community service in nursing homes, then at least they are still useful. Maybe it’s a good thing that I’m not Prime Minister, because I would be a lot more rigorous in this regard.”

Angry and furious

Does Waylon realize that he is lashing out at a celebrity? “I think people think I’m angry about the slightest thing, but that’s not so bad. Sometimes I am critical, because I think that in the entertainment industry it is okay to put each other down every now and then.”

He continues: “Not bullying, whining, jellyfishing or sucking, but simply responding to untruths. You do this by giving your vision on it. What is wrong with that? The headlines then say ‘Waylon is furious’ and ‘Waylon lashes out’, well, I can’t do anything about that.”
