Waylon just showed up at a performance last night, on the day it was announced that he is an adulteress. There he refused to speak to a camera crew from SBS 6.
The juice channels exposed Waylon as a cheater yesterday. He cheated on his beloved Bibi Breijman, at least when she was heavily pregnant and probably more than once. What’s it coming from? The demons in his head, says the singer himself. He just went to perform last night.
Subject ban
A camera crew from the SBS 6 program Shownieuws would already be at that performance anyway. “Waylon had recordings today for a new program for RTL: Vuur. These are a kind of intimate concerts that artists give around a campfire,” explains expert Bart Ettekoven.
Soon Shownieuws got a ban on the subject. “Then it was already said this morning: ‘You are not allowed to ask Waylon personal questions.’ Then of course we already thought: that’s because the rumors started last week. Then came that statement from Waylon.”
no interview
Once arrived, Waylon didn’t feel like being in that camera crew anymore. “We went there and once we got there it became clear that Waylon wasn’t giving any interviews at all. That in itself is exceptional, because we came there for an interview about that new program,” says Bart.
He continues: “In the end he did perform and then he spoke to the audience and there he did say a few things about this current event today.”
crazy day
Waylon made a few comments during the performance about revealing he is a cheater. “It’s a crazy day. I can’t say anything else,” he said, for example.
And: “Given the situation… We all know… At least, most will undoubtedly have read something, heard something today. Ehm, that’s what it is, I made my statement about that. The fact that this song is now coming up today only indicates that the kick that life sometimes has to give you has arrived. Let me put it this way.”
