Waylon boycotts Show news after Patty Brard’s outburst of anger

Waylon no longer wants to talk to Shownieuws after Patty Brard’s outburst of anger. She was so angry with the singer that her whole face twisted. “I was sawed off at the ankles!”

Waylon’s cheating has provoked quite a few reactions. On the day he cheated on his heavily pregnant beloved acquaintance, Patty Brard exploded behind the desk of Shownieuws. At one point she looked as if she wanted to put Waylon on the guillotine: “As a mother, I just became furious. I was so angry, I thought: God damn it.”

Childish

That reaction from Patty has gone down the wrong way with Waylon, because he and his manager no longer want to speak to Shownieuws. That is what the editors of the program found out yesterday when they called management about the fact that he was booed and pelted with beer during a performance for AvroTros.

Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven in Shownieuws: “We also called Waylon’s management, but they said: ‘You were so unkind about him last week that we are not going to say anything about this incident.’ I always find that a bit childish.”

Sawn off at ankles

Unbelievable, says colleague Iris van Lunenburg. “I find that less professional. I find that a bit childish.”

Bart agrees. “The literal words were that we ‘saw him off at the ankles’. We just talked about it. It was also quite a bit. It was really big news that day that he posted that statement on Instagram in which he donned the robe and took the blame. Shouldn’t we be talking about that then?”

What does Albert think?

Albert Verlinde thinks Waylon should pull himself together a bit. “The week before it broke out, he gave a very nice interview about his children and then suddenly we get this after it. Come on, Waylon, friends for better or for worse.”

Such management should also behave somewhat professionally, he believes. “How stupid is that from management. Can’t you just give your opinion on something? You can just say what you think, right?”

Albert is of course absolutely right. Perhaps he can also convey that message to the management of Talpa. He decided to boycott the AD because of a critical opinion.

Well with Boulevard

Waylon did give a short interview to competitor RTL Boulevard:
