Water quality in Ostend bathing areas back to normal, swimming allowed again

Due to the heavy rain of last Tuesday, a waste water stream had ended up in the sea. As a result, it was not recommended to swim near Noodstrand-Christinastraat and Koninginnelaan.

The Agency for Care and Health and the Flemish Environment Agency have meanwhile announced that the water quality is back in order. Swimming is therefore possible again in all bathing areas in Ostend.
