Water from dam no longer sufficient for cooling, Zaporizhia nuclear power plant switches to reserve cooling water

The water level in the reservoir of the Ukrainian Dnipro River has fallen so far after the dam burst that the water can no longer be used to cool the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. That is why it is now necessary to switch to the reserves. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said earlier that there is no acute danger because there is enough cooling water for several months.
