The watchtower on the Zuidlaardermeer near Noordlaren has been modified by vandals with a circular saw and is missing a number of steps. Groninger Landscape director Marco Glastra reports this on Twitter.
It is not the first time that a watchtower in a nature reserve has been destroyed. Previously, the watchtower in De Onlanden near Eelderwolde also had to believe it.
Glastra calls on Twitter to any witnesses to report to Groninger Landschap.
