Watchdog FSMA warns against fake investment advertisements with famous people: “Scammers act aggressively”

The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) warns consumers against new fraudulent online trading platforms. Such platforms often try to convince people to invest with the help of fake social media advertisements in which (famous) persons appear. “In it, a (famous) person often talks about a method or project to get rich quick,” according to the FSMA.
