The seven party leaders who will debate important issues in the South of the Netherlands are Dilan Yesilgöz (VVD), Geert Wilders (PVV), Henri Bontenbal (CDA), Rob Jetten (D66), Caroline van der Plas (BBB), Lilian Marijnissen (SP). ) and Esther Ouwehand (Party for the Animals).

The debate discusses, among other things, migration, social security and the report Every Region Counts. Citizens in the south of the Netherlands do not feel well represented by The Hague. What do the party leaders want to do to improve ties with the region?
The Debate of the South can be followed live on Saturday evening from half past seven on Omroep Brabant via television, website, app and social media. The debate ends around nine o’clock. The review will then begin on video platform Brabant+ and the Omroep Brabant website. The national theme channel NOS Politics and News also broadcasts the debate live.
