The German women’s national soccer team can hope for a speedy return of midfielder Tabea Wassmuth.
“It’s getting better every day, I’ve been able to do a lot on the ball. It’s getting a little better every day. I’m optimistic that I’ll be back in full team training soon,” said the 25-year-old Waßmuth in a media round at Training camp in Herzogenaurach. Waßmuth recently had to struggle with muscular problems in his calf.
The DFB women are currently preparing for the European Championships in England (July 6th to 31st) and will play their only friendly against Switzerland in Erfurt on Friday (5 p.m. / ZDF). On the island, vice European champions Denmark (July 8), title candidate Spain (July 12) and Finland (July 16) are the German group opponents.
