Måneskin fans on Twitter are sure that the band’s performance was deliberately censored at the award gala.

The rock band Måneskin, known from Eurovision, recently performed live on MTV at the Video Music Awards gala. Now the band’s fans have paid attention to the way the band’s soloist Damiano Davidia was filmed.
Followers of Måneskin are sure that the band’s performance was censored with special angles, when sometimes the stage of the MTV award gala was filmed from afar. Twitter suspects that this was due to Damiano’s clothing.
– Måneskin’s performance would have been the best moment of the VMAs, even though I don’t even like this band. The cameras cut more than half of the performance based on the singer’s outfit. Something may have happened, someone commented on Twitter.
Soloist Damiano was seen on stage in long boots and pants that exposed his buttocks. In the video shared by the award gala, you can see how the band is filmed from a close distance at the beginning and Damiano’s buttocks flash on the screen.
During the final performance, the band is filmed either with a remote camera or in such a way that no one’s feet are visible on the stage. This is how half-naked bodies are hidden in the live broadcast, i.e. censored, Måneskin’s fans claim. The matter became a topic of conversation when a video of the performance was published on the Twitter account of the Video Music Awards.

The release made the band’s fans react. Many directly criticized the awards gala publication or shared their own gala Twitter publications.
– It would have been better if the whole show had actually been shown and not cut to strange angles where you could literally see nothing. Måneskin doesn’t deserve this, one criticized the VMA.
Måneskin presented the one that appeared in the summer Supermodel-song at his first VMA award gala. The band also won the Best Alternative category during the evening.
– The VMA censored 90% of Måneskin’s performance, but they had a 50-foot (15-meter) hologram that showed the entire backside during the performance and the organizer didn’t bat an eye. It’s just a man’s backside, one wrote sharply.
The event was also rocked by the performance of Eminem and Snoop Dogg, where the rappers pretended to smoke marijuana from an oversized hook. TIP
Måneskin is known for his flamboyant style and the band members have not been afraid to show their bare skin on stage. Most recently, the band’s bassist Victoria De Angleis rocked bare-chested when her performance outfit failed.
The group also published on his Instagram account pictures from his trip to Japan and in the pictures the band’s drummer Ethan Torchio sits naked with a banana in his hand.
In their latest release, they thank MTV for the opportunity they received and the opportunity to perform.
