Hackers managed to hack the customer service of the 2K game studio. Game publisher 2K tells about an online attack against it, where hackers were able to break into its customer service. Pelitalo emphasizes that e-mails from its customer service should not be opened, as they may be a data security risk. 2K made the announcement on their Twitter account after Bleeping Computer shared images of phishing messages. Those who opened fishing messages immediately received a new message in which they tried to get the “2K game program” installed on the device. This program was actually a malware that steals passwords stored in the browser.
