Pastor Joanne Greving was confirmed as the new pastor of the Voorhof municipality in Westerbork during a festive service on Sunday. Joanne Greving was a pastor at the Protestant church in Beilen. The service was supervised by colleague Melle Leffers, pastor at the Börker Stefanus congregation.
Many guests were present during the festive service in the De Voorhof church centre. For this occasion, the church hall was decorated with flags made by church members and brightened up with many different flowers.

After the service there were speakers and fun videos. Joanne was also sung with a cheerful and appropriate welcome song. It was emphatically stated how happy the Voorhof municipality is with this enthusiastic new pastor. As a gift, Joanne Greving was offered a wooden garden bench by the church community, the intention is that many conversations with people from the village will take place on this bench.
