Warm welcome for NAC players after delay in Tilburg

The players of NAC were warmly welcomed on Sunday afternoon after the 1-2 win against Willem II. Several hundred supporters had gathered at the stadium. The necessary fireworks were also shot at the stadium, which could be heard in various parts of Breda. The patience of the Breda supporters was tested, because it took a while before the bus could leave the stadium in Tilburg.

Angry Willem II fans stood outside at the main entrance and wanted to speak to their trainer, Kevin Hofland. As a result, the NAC player bus cannot reach the entrance. It is unclear whether Hofland has spoken to the angry fans.

Party in Breda
The players bus arrived at the NAC stadium around four o’clock. The frenzied hundreds of supporters provided a reception where the necessary fireworks were fired. “An unexpected victory. I could not have predicted that in advance. In the second half, the tire at Willem II was completely empty. NAC won it on willpower and conviction. It gives this terrible season a little shine,” says NAC fan Leon Deckers.

In Tilburg, the Breda fans were not welcome at the game, after there were disturbances in an earlier game. Later this season when the derby is played in Breda, no supporters from Tilburg are welcome either.
