The fire started around 11 a.m. on a farm in Eegalstraat. The thick plume of smoke could be seen for miles.
“The single warehouse is completely burned out,” says the Fluvia spokesperson. “It happened very quickly. We can only extinguish the fire again. We use tankers for this because the supply of water is not easy at that location.”
No one was injured in the fire.
