Waregem is the proud afternoon city of the 1000 km for Kop against Cancer

Today Waregem welcomes more than 1000 teams consisting of about 6000 participants who cycle 10000 kilometers together for Kom op tegen Kanker. The teams cycle eight stages of 125 kilometers for four days, and they cycle about 250 kilometers every day. Each time from Mechelen to an afternoon city and back.
