The EU and the UN deplore the Russian attack on Vinitsia
The European Union and the UN have conveyed their condemnation of the attack perpetrated by Russia against civilian buildings in the city of Vinitsia, located in the center of Ukraine, and in which at least 22 people have lost their lives, while another fifty have injured result. The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, and Commissioner responsible for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarcic, have issued a joint statement accusing Russia of launching attacks against “civilian objects, including hospitals, medical facilities, schools and shelters. Thus, the EU has regretted that the city of Vinitsia joins the despicable list of Ukrainian towns that have been the scene of Russian atrocities, such as Bucha, Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Kremenchuk, Sloviansk, Kharkov, Odessa and, more recently, Chasiv Yar.
