War crimes: Kramatorsk

There is, unfortunately, no armed conflict in which war crimes do not occur. Experience shows that, while the Geneva Conventions have been trampled on since their very approval and the International Criminal Court suffers from a notable bias and clear limitations in its actions, none of the instruments created to deal with them is effective to deter their perpetrators. Ukraine is currently being a war scene in which that feeling is being repeated, with the indiscriminate attack on civilians crowding the Kramatorsk railway station as the most recent example, but not the first nor the last that can be counted in a war with no end in sight.
