Wanitzek remains loyal to KSC – Brosinski is coming back

Playmaker Marvin Wanitzek remains loyal to the second division soccer team Karlsruher SC.

The 29-year-old has extended his contract, which originally ran until 2024, by three years. Should Wanitzek actually play at KSC until 2027, he would have completed the ten years with the Badeners.

“KSC is my family, my home and my future. I am grateful and proud to be able to continue wearing the blue and white jersey for such a long time,” said Wanitzek: “Nowadays it is not a matter of course as long as you work for a club to be.”

In the current season, Wanitzek, who has been a fan of KSC since he was a child, has been in the starting XI in every game so far. With six goals and five assists, he is Karlsruhe’s top scorer.

Veteran Daniel Brosinski is finally coming back to KSC. Born in Karlsruhe and a Bundesliga professional for FSV Mainz 05 for many years, he has been keeping fit as a training guest at his training club since last summer and has now signed a contract until the end of the season. “I want to go ahead with my experience, help the boys on and off the field,” said the 34-year-old.
