Wandler starts with Bluebell Group on the Japanese market

Dutch accessories brand Wandler is partnering with luxury distributor Bluebell Group to enter the Japanese market.

From November, Wandler will benefit from the market expertise of the Bluebell Group, which currently manages a portfolio of 150 brands in Asia as an omnichannel brand partner and operator. Under the partnership, all operations, marketing initiatives and management of e-commerce platforms in Japan to be launched in the future will be overseen by Bluebell, the two companies said on Monday.

“The only way to conquer a market like Japan is with a local specialist,” says Wandler COO Joost Doeswijk. “We couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Bluebell Japan to support converters in the Japanese market.”

For Wandler, the collaboration and market entry in Japan means “a new chapter,” according to the statement. Bluebell Group has previously worked with brands such as Acne Studios, Balmain and Dior to launch into the Japanese market.
