Walk or cycle to school on Strap Day

The Strap Day is the starting signal of a whole year of actions on road safety. The Het Wonderbos school in Ingelmunster wants to make children more resilient in traffic and for this it received the brilliant medal from the Flemish Traffic Science Foundation. But those who walk or cycle to school sometimes feel unsafe in busy rush hour.

Ingelmunster organizes activities throughout the Strap Day: learning to cycle with agility, for example. And the blind spot near a truck still creates a dangerous situation for cyclists. That is why the police provide more information about the danger of trucks in traffic.
