Walid Khan wins German Supersport 300 race in Oschersleben

MOTORSPORT – Motorcycle racer Walid Khan has won the second SuperSport 300 race of the German championship in Oschersleben. The day before, he took third place in the first race.

Khan already played in the “Internationale Deutsche Meisterschaft” (IDM) last year when he was called up to the Freudenberg Racing Team as a substitute. Surprisingly enough, he also won the match right away. This season Khan gets more chances with the German success team and that rewarded the Drent with two podium places this weekend.

In the first race under difficult conditions Khan settled for third place behind former vice world champion Scott Deroue from Nijkerkerveen and Germany’s Marvin Siebdrath. In the second race, the Drent went full for the win. In the final lap he outwitted his Austrian teammate Leo Rammerstorfer for the win.

“Today I would win. In the first race I held back with the difficult conditions, but today I went for it.” Khan let know on the site of the German organization. Khan enters the standings in fifth place with 41 points from two matches. He was out of the game for the first two games of the season.
