The Munich-based men’s brand Dornschild, which has so far only produced men’s waistcoats, will present a coat collection for the first time in the coming autumn/winter 2022.
The collection, which consists of two coat models, is made in Europe from Italian fabrics made from a new wool/cashmere blend that was developed exclusively by the Venetian luxury weaver Lanificio Bottoli. Dornschild has been working closely with the Bottoli family company since it was founded in 2013, according to the press release.
“The plan was to sell and test the new coat line in advance and only through its own online shop in the autumn/winter 2022 season,” the company said in a statement. “However, the interest from retailers was so great when the first order dates for the vests were placed and when feedback was obtained on the coats that they were now included in the pre-orders.”
