Now that Russian President Vladimir Putin (71) can no longer count on the Wagner Group to do his dirty work on the Ukrainian front, he is increasingly relying on a new private militia. This is what British military intelligence services claim in a new report. The militia, ‘Redut’, would recruit mercenaries (including former Wagner members) under the guise of “volunteers”. In this way, Putin reportedly hopes to avoid a second mobilization of Russian citizens.
