Wagner sympathizers insinuate that Prigozhin is still up to something | Abroad

Beneath a drawn image of Prigozhin holding a finger to his mouth is the text: “Plans love silence.” A parody of the message that the Ukrainian spy boss Kyruylo Budanov had previously spread in exactly the same way. Budanov is considered the architect of many surprise actions against Russia, including the drone strikes that hit the Kremlin in May and the repeated invasions by pro-Ukrainian Russian rebels in the border area around Belgorod.

Whether the same message from the Wagner camp really means that Prigozhin does not resign himself to his exile in Belarus remains to be seen. But even if it were a psychological jousting game designed only to frighten the Kremlin, it seems to mean that not everyone at Wagner wants to quit fighting the military leadership.
