Russia’s defense ministry said on Tuesday that the Russian military had repelled a major offensive from Ukraine, knocking out as many as 1,500 enemy soldiers, 109 armored vehicles and 28 tanks – including eight Leopard tanks supplied by Germany and three AMX-10 reconnaissance vehicles from France.

But in a statement issued by his press office, Prigozhin dismissed the Kremlin’s figures as “wild and absurd science fiction.”

To kill 1,500 soldiers, Russia would have to advance 150 km every day, the Wagner boss explained. “That’s why I believe this is just wild and absurd science fiction,” said Prigojzin.

“Aliens”

The numbers given by the Defense Ministry spokesman would mean that the Russian military would have “simply destroyed the entire planet Earth five times” and “reached the aliens,” he added.

Prigozhin, who spent months fighting with his mercenaries in the eastern Ukrainian city of Bachmut, gave no details on how exactly he came to this conclusion. But he seems to be antagonizing the Kremlin again here.
