Business lags behind public sector
Amsterdam – Employers realize that they ‘can no longer sit for a penny in the first rank’, but there is no question of a wage wave. According to the trade union FNV, collectively negotiated wages have risen by an average of 2.8% in the past six months. That is not nearly enough to absorb rising prices.
