Wacken 2023: Here you can watch the live stream of the Open Air

The metal festival takes place from August 2nd to 5th. If you can’t be there, you can celebrate online.

From August 2nd to 5th, the Wacken Festival will take place for the 32nd time in Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein. For the first time, the Open Air will be extended to four days – headliners will be Iron Maiden, Doro Pesch and Megadeth. The festival is already sold out, but there will be the opportunity to watch all of the concerts on MagentaMusik’s free live stream.

What to expect: A total of 180 bands and solo artists from over 30 countries will perform during the festival days. Already on the first day (August 2nd) the metal legend Doro Pesch will celebrate her 40th stage anniversary at Wacken.

On Thursday (August 3rd) Helloween will heat up the Faster Stage and a day later Iron Maiden will open the weekend on the Harder Stage. Metal fans can also look forward to Heaven Shall Burn on the Faster stage on Saturday. Megadeth, Wardruna and The Dropkick Murphys are also part of Wacken 2023. You can find the entire line-up here.

Since 1990, Wacken has been the metal festival of the year, for which more than 85,000 visitors travel to Schleswig-Holstein every year. Last year, headlining acts included Limp Bizkit and Slipknot.
