Vzw Proper Strandlopers is looking for financial support

The non-profit organization started about six years ago. The Facebook group Proper Strandlopers now has more than 6,000 followers. Every day 400 volunteers clean a stretch of beach. To date, the Proper Standlopers have collected 220 tons of litter between De Panne and Knokke-Heist.

Financial support

The Proper Strandlopers knock on the door of the Flemish Minister for the Environment Zuhal Demir for financial support, but to no avail. Their last hope is North Sea Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne. Tomorrow they will sit with him.
