Russian martial arts figures Vyacheslav Datsik and Alexander Emelianenko have had a verbal spat for more than a decade, but finally got to challenge each other in the boxing ring on Saturday night.
The match was over quickly. Datsik, who launched an aggressive attack, knocked Emelianenko to the ground in 13 seconds in the evening organized by the Hardcore organization.
After the match, Emelianenko admitted that he underestimated the heavyweight known as “Red Tarzan” as an opponent.
– I’m going to watch, analyze and work with the coaches. I didn’t expect this, the knocked-out Russian stated in his Telegram message.
Datsik’s statistics on the boxing side are now six wins and two losses.
Prison societies
Emelianenko has extensive experience in freestyle cages, but the man who recently turned 41 years old has recently been exposed mainly because of his alcohol problem. In 2014, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for raping his housekeeper, but the sentence was changed to parole after a year and a half in prison.
The history of Datsik, 42, is also somewhat disturbing to read. Datsik, who openly supports Nazi ideology, gained publicity in 2016 after attacking a St. Petersburg brothel. As he filmed himself, he abused one woman and evicted prostitutes onto the street.
The man has been in prison for a total of nine years.
Datsik, who has fought kickboxing and freestyle matches for several decades, has been hospitalized for schizophrenia, but the man himself has denied the diagnosis.
