Hit-and-run accident on Tuesday evening in Berlin-Wedding!
At around 9:40 p.m., the driver of a VW Sharan crashed into a traffic light on Seestrasse / Lütticher Strasse in Berlin-Weding. The system was severely damaged in the accident.
The driver rammed the traffic light pole and landed on the tram track. After the crash, the occupants of the VW fled on foot.

The officers secured traces on the vehicle on site – including DNA. The vehicle was seized.
Tram traffic was interrupted for about an hour. Police investigations into the accident and hit-and-run are ongoing
