VW driver gives chase and rams civilian cars of the federal police

A chase by a VW driver ended Wednesday morning in Berlin-Mitte when he rammed a federal police car and flattened an electrical box.

The driver of the VW was temporarily arrested on Breite Strasse and taken to a detention center. It is currently not known whether officials were injured in the civilian car of the Federal Police. Both vehicles were severely damaged.

The employees of Stromnetz Berlin were busy repairing the destroyed distribution box in the morning. It is not known to what extent the power went out. The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident and the pursuit.
