vv Gasselternijveen back in 3th class after thirteen years

Nothing was left to chance at VV Gasselternijveen for the last game of the season. Due to the unexpected loss of competitor Schoonebeek, last week against Sleen, the red shirts suddenly had promotion completely in their own hands and the club did not want to let that slip through their hands.

And so it was ‘patched up’ to bring back striker Minas Sihasale from Portugal for the promotion match against Buinen. Trainer Robert Oosting, who was specially repaired for this afternoon to replace top scorer Wessel Koomans (who was suspended), took Sihasale personally from Rotterdam Airport last night. Until last week, Sihasale also assumed the playoffs and went on a trip to the Portuguese sun with his class.
