Vučić announces victory in Serbian presidential election

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced his victory in the presidential elections, informs Pink TV.

“I’m the only one who won twice in the first round,” Vucic said.

According to him, he has from 59.9% to 60.1% of the vote.

Vučić’s main rival, Zdravko Ponosha, from the opposition coalition Unity for the Victory of Serbia, won, according to him, 17.7% of the vote.

By data Republican Electoral Commission, as of 01:17 Moscow time, 66.15% of voters voted for the incumbent president, and 12.52% for Ponosha. In total, eight candidates participated in the presidential elections.
