Brian is 27 years old, works in the construction industry, and has been using cocaine for ten years. Out of fear of negative reactions from his dealer, he does not want to appear recognizable in the picture. “I was a daily cocaine user from the age of sixteen to twenty-two,” Brian says.
“Since then, I’ve taken a break and now, for a few years now, I’ve been back to using cocaine sporadically. Once or twice a month, depending on what’s going on. A festival or when I go out, at a birthday, at New Year’s …” Brian says that he gets very easily into cocaine. “I only need one text message to get new stuff,” it sounds.
