The first edition of the VrijMiBo Festival in Dalen was a success last year and that is why there will be a second edition on September 1.
What does free-mi-bo mean? “It is the abbreviation of the Friday afternoon drink,” explains a spokesperson for the organization. ,,On weekdays you only go for the cup-a-soup at 4 p.m. On Friday afternoon, September 1, a band kicks off at 4 p.m. to start the weekend together. At 10 p.m. we put an end to it, then you will also have something to do with the rest of your weekend. Ideal right?”
That party is not celebrated on an empty stomach. The Oelnbret, the Baander, Brasserie Cornelis, D’Aolle Bakkerij and Snackbar Dalen are joining forces.
It is not yet known which bands will play at the festival site on the Hoofdstraat in Dalen.
