VREG fines Fluvius for non-compliance with core tasks and threatens with even more sanctions | Inland

It is the first time that the regulator has effectively collected a fine from the distribution system operators. As the operating company of the network operators, Fluvius has been fined 700,000 euros for failing to make monthly settlements for natural gas possible. Suppliers can offer such monthly statements instead of annual statements. This is possible for electricity, but Fluvius has not been able to support this for natural gas, according to the Vreg.

The regulator is waving even more fines, but Fluvius still has time to adjust to those obligations.
